Aesop | Brass Oil Burner 

The Brass Oil Burner is Aesop’s first piece of design for interiors, created by Sydney-based designer and long-time Aesop collaborator Henry Wilson. We launched the oil burner within a larger campaign for Aesop’s Home Range, highlighting scent and object together. 

Though fleeting and immaterial, scent is structured, considered in its design as an architect would consider her building. In articulating scent as a structure ever-shifting and changing, we lend materiality to the immaterial and visibility to the movement of scent.

To help us visualize this connection between fragrance and object, we collaborated with artist Matt Shlian.
