An ode to suburban summers
Our fourth presence in Miami, Aesop Brickell City Centre, is located in the city’s downtown financial district. Created in partnership with Mlkk Studio, the store takes its cues from a sense of the familiar: the backyard in summertime, home to neighbourly barbeques and sunbathing.
Shelving, basins and the central volume adopt the casual curves and buffed ivory tones of sun-faded dining sets and reclining lounges, referencing the crisp, washed aesthetic of tropics and coastal towns.
Outdoor materials—concrete tile flooring, lime-washed plaster and copper accents—create a blurred threshold between exterior and interior typical of the locale.
